New Building News

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the City of Maitland held a Groundbreaking Celebration to commemorate the start of construction on the new library building. The facility is expected to be completed in a little more than a year.

2026 Poetry Contest is a Big Dill!

Our annual poetry contest, sponsored by the Friends of the Maitland Public Library, is always a hit. This year's theme is "In a Pickle."

The submission window closed on April 1 and poems are now out for judging.
