Youth Summer Reading Program 2017

Every Thursday throughout the summer, we’ll have a special Summer Reading Program event! These events are always FREE and open to the public, no library card required. All ages are welcome! Our regular storytimes and other classes will continue as usual through the Summer.

Thursday, July 20, 2:00 PM: DIY Make Your Own Books
Unfortunately, our Hula Hoop event has been canceled. Instead, our youth department will be teaching you how to make your own book! We’ll also play the movie Inkheart (PG, 2009) for inspiration. All ages welcome.

Thursday, July 27, 2:00 PM: Winter Park Construction
One of the most established construction companies in the area is coming to teach us all about what it’s really like to work in construction!

Thursday, August 3, 2:00 PM: Rail Safety with SunRail
Come learn all about trains and train safety with Tie the SunRail Squirrel! Bring your reading logs along and turn them in for a chance to win our Grand Prize.

THANK YOU to all of our Summer Reading prize sponsors!
