Teen Virtual Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities for teens 14 and older are limited to online tasks at the present, but as soon as in-person opportunities become available, we will let you know. Tasks for Virtual Volunteering include book reviews, making videos, taking photos for social media, transcribing for the Library of Congress, and more.

At this time, we do not have volunteer hours available.  Watch this space for updates.

Join the Friends!

The Friends of the Maitland Public Library is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of supporting and enhancing library services. The Friends promote the services and facilities of the library by sponsoring events of interest to the community. Residents and members are kept abreast of library activities by way of a semi-annual newsletter. The Friends raise funds to purchase books and equipment for the library through book sales in their on-site store and bimonthly events. Volunteers are encouraged to help sort donations; set up, organize, and cashier at book sales; and serve on the Friends board.
