Art & History Museums of Maitland
A & H consists of five museums located on two campuses surrounded by Maitland’s natural beauty. Unlike traditional art and history museums that offer visitors a static experience, the A&H engages visitors by providing unparalleled opportunities for enrichment and inspiration.
Audubon Center for Birds of Prey
Located in the city of Maitland and the Town of Eatonville, this urban environmental Audubon Center focuses on the rescue, medical treatment, rehabilitation and release of Florida’s raptors. Open to the public, Audubon Center for Birds of Prey offers educational opportunities for all ages.
City of Maitland
The City of Maitland (population 18,500) is among Central Florida’s most attractive communities with a mix of scenic, tree-filled parks, friendly neighborhoods, an active arts and history community, a growing downtown center and one of the area’s top commerce centers. Interesting educational classes on Florida-Friendly Landscaping, Agriculture, Residential Landscapes, Gardening, Nutrition, Money Management, and more, available to all Orange County residents.
Maitland Area Chamber of Commerce
The goal of the Maitland Area Chamber of Commerce is to foster growth among area businesses, assist new businesses or individuals relocating to the area, and to be a vital part of the community. The Chamber supports the activities benefiting the community while representing our members in city, state and national affairs. Small businesses and entrepreneurial enterprises are the American dream realized and one of our main focuses.
Maitland Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market is every Sunday from 9am-2pm on Independence Lane in Maitland.
Maitland Senior Center
The Maitland Senior Center, 345 S. Maitland Ave., is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Participation is free for Maitland residents – non-residents are $30 annually. Register at the front office. Bring a drivers license and a City of Maitland utility bill for proof of residency. For questions, call (407) 539-6251.
Popcorn Flix in the Park
The City of Winter Park and the Enzian collaborate to provide “Popcorn Flicks in the Park.”a series of feature classic films for the whole family. These films are usually held on the second Thursday of each month in Winter Park’s beautiful Central Park and they are FREE and open to the public. Bring a blanket, a picnic or snacks, and some family and friends! Popcorn Flicks are typically scheduled at 7PM or 8PM, but may not start until sunset to provide an optimal viewing experience for our guests. These outdoor screenings are dependent upon Florida’s famously unpredictable weather conditions.
The Venue On The Lake (Maitland Civic Center)
The Venue On The Lake (Maitland Civic Center) is a non-profit organization that provides services to residents of Maitland and the surrounding areas via our facilities. Some of the events include weddings, conferences, business meetings, trade shows and more.
