Health and Cooking in the Library

We consider our participation in Healthy Central Florida, as part of Healthy Maitland, a vital part of the Library’s function. We offer a number of health-related programs, and programs to help patrons improve their health, under the Healthy Maitland umbrella.

Maitland Walks
Join our weekly group for an hour of walking followed by tea, coffee, and conversation. We meet every Thursday, 7 am, rain or shine.

We are currently not offering yoga, but we hope to see it return.  Check back for updates.

Heartfulness Meditation
The Heartfulness Meditation group meets via Zoom every Tuesday night from 6:00-7:00pm.  Go to the calendar for Zoom access.

We are also posting our cooking content Virtually to our Facebook and YouTube channels.  Check our calendar for details.

Youth Cooking Classes
Once a month, we offer virtual cooking classes geared towards kids and teens.  They are posted to our Facebook and Youtube pages on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm.
