Do you have unpaid overdue fines at the Library? Want to turn those fines into good works instead? Participate in our annual Food for Fines drive!
It's our annual opportunity to give back to the Maitland community. Bring in unexpired, non-perishable items by December 31 and we'll waive an equivalent dollar amount of overdue fines.
Don't have any fines? Bring donated food items anyway and we'll be sure they get to your neighbors in need.
All donations go to the food pantry at the Church of the Good Shepherd, right here in Maitland.
Offer available through the month of December.
Part of the worldwide #GivingTuesday movement.
The Time is Near.
The last thing Special Forces operator John Sunday expected to find taped to the body of a dead terrorist was a woman's portrait.
The last thing Kat Devier expected to find beneath the paint was a lost gospel claiming the body of Jesus Christ is in a cave in Jordan.
The clues lead to a cold, clay jar sealed in mud and kept hidden in the darkness for thousands of years. But what’s inside?
And why does a man who cannot die walk the earth in search of it?
Local author and popular news anchor James Holmes will have his premier book signing at the Maitland Public Library on February 15, 2020, at 12pm in our Community Room. Mr. Holmes will conduct a reading followed by a Q&A and book signing. His novel, The Last Disciple, will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public.
