    Michael McConville of the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium visits for a very special presentation about the upcoming North American total solar eclipse.

    Learn about solar eclipses, and what to expect in our area. Free eclipse glasses- 2 per family, while supplies last. This event is for youth and families.

    August 21st, 2017! Come to the library at 12 noon to receive a free pair of eclipse viewing glasses*, enjoy some snacks, and play some planetary games and crafts! After a quick safety presentation, we will head across the street to Quinn Strong Park to view the beginning of the solar eclipse scheduled for our area at 1:19pm. The eclipse will reach its maximum at 2:51pm, and will end at 4:14pm. Attendees are welcome to stay as long as they wish. In the event of rain, the library will live-stream the eclipse coverage in our Community Room. For more information about the August 21 eclipse, visit https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/. *Limit 2 pairs of glasses per family, While Supplies Last*
