1. When is help available?
--Help is available in English from 2pm to 1am every day, including weekends.
--Help is available in Spanish from 2pm to 10pm Sunday though Thursday
2. What grades are included?
--Assistance is available for grades 4 through 12 (High School), College Intro
(First year),
and for GED students.
3. What subjects are covered?
--Math, Science, Social Studies, and English.
4. How can I access this help?
--You can access Tutor.com from either your home PC or here in the library by
clicking on the
Tutor.com (Live Homework Help) icon. Clicking on the icon will take you to
the logon page.
5. Do I need a user name and password to log on?
--No, a user name and password is not necessary to log on to homework help; the
user name
and password option is required if you want to save your session for future
reference.
6. Can I save my session for future reference?
--Yes, there are two ways you can save your session. First, you can choose
to print the session.
If you do not want to print the session, you will want to create for yourself a
user name
and password before you begin (or log on using a previously created
username/password).
Sessions are saved for 3 months.
7. Is any special hardware or software required for me to use Live Homework
Help?
--Yes, you must have Shockwave 8.5 installed on your PC. Shockwave 8.5
allows you to
print your session; higher versions of Shockwave will work, but you may not be
able
to print while using them.
8. Things are not quite working, how do I get help?
--Tutor.com provides live technical support. Click on the link, describe
your problem,
input your email address, and send. An answer should be sent back to you
shortly.
