VISION STATEMENT

The Maitland Public Library exists for the purpose of anticipating the changing needs of Maitland citizens in their lifelong quest for information resources, leisure reading and cultural experiences.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Maitland Public Library will update continually its reading, viewing and listening collections as well as seek new ways to stimulate the intellectual growth of library users of all ages.

The Library will provide a comfortable, useable environment in which patrons may access resources, obtain technical assistance and find avenues to become discriminating consumers of contemporary information.
