Friends of the
Maitland Public Library

 

The Friends of the Maitland Public Library is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of supporting and enhancing library services. The Friends promote the services and facilities of the library by sponsoring events of interest to the community.

Travelogues, political forums, literary and cultural programs are held throughout the year. Residents are kept abreast of library activities by way of a semi-annual newsletter.

The Friends raise funds to purchase books and equipment for the library through book sales and other money-making activities, such as the sale of the Best of Friends cookbook.
