Friends of the
Maitland Public Library

 

    The Friends of the Maitland Public Library is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of supporting and enhancing library services. The Friends promote the services and facilities of the library by sponsoring events of interest to the community.
    Residents and members are kept abreast of library activities by way of a semi-annual newsletter.
    The Friends raise funds to purchase books and equipment for the library through biannual book sales.
    Volunteers are encouraged to help sort donations; set up, organize and cashier at book sales; and serve on the Friends board.
