Healthy Chefs is a partner program of Healthy Central Florida, a community-based partnership established to transform our community into the healthiest in the nation. Its aim is to get people moving more, eating healthier, feeling better, and enjoying a more vibrant, energized life. The Library offers regular cooking demonstrations and sponsors group walks every Thursday morning at 6:30 and 8:30 as part of the effort to improve health and wellness in Maitland and beyond.
Learn healthy cooking from our local experts, restaurant professionals who will highlight tips, recipes, and ingredients that can help you make delicious food at home in a healthy way. Join the Maitland Public Library for our new eight-part cooking series, each including a one-hour cooking demonstration and of course plenty of time to sample their creations and ask lots of questions!
Everyone attending should register in advance so that enough food is available for everyone to enjoy. Register online or by calling 407-647-7700.
